Together We Conquer Obstacles - We had a great time during our latest edition of this amazing awareness campaign set in the halls of X World Cup Finals for Central European Region in jumping and dressage disciplines. This event took place at the end of March 2011.  For three days our professional nurses offered free blood glucose testing to the public and audiences could view an awareness sport on the main tele-beams of the venue. Children and visitors were able to buy a commemorative ribbon just like the ones given to the winners as a keepsake.. We wish to thank the organizers X Warsaw Horse Days for all their help and support and our partner ABBOTT Diabetes Care.

Safe Schools for Diabetic Kids - we are launching our DIABETIC EDUCATION WORKSHOPS for teachers and coaches.

Fundacja CUD  with the help fro our partner  ABBOTT Diabetes Care, Poland   is about to launch diabetic education workshops for teachers and sports coaches as part of our DIABETIC FRIENDLY SCHOOL CAMPAIGN. Regularly scheduled workshops will begin in April 2011 and will continue indefinitely. We encourage educators to contact the foundation for schedule and sign up.

We are proud to release "Young Diabetic's Manual" to complement post diagnosis training for all the new pediatric patients. The book is on sale now!

The manual is work of our founder Monika Chrzanowski. Medical consult was provided by Pediatric Endocrinology Specialist Dr. Malgorzata MYŚLIWIEC. The book is illustrated by Anita Graboś, a very talented computer graphic artist. The manual will hold all the necessary medical information and practical advise for all living with Diabetes Type I Mellitus. We are very proud of this undertaking and we hope it will truly revolutionize the way disease specific information is presented to a young patient and their parents.

Mark your calendars!!! This year in November we are returning for our Second Edition of Dance for Diabetes.

The last event was held onSaturday November 13th, 2010 at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Warsaw, Poland. The theme DRESS IN ALL SHADES OF BLUE. This was a charity event and all proceeds benefited Fundacja CUD's teacher diabetic education workshops as part of our"Diabetic Friendly School Campaign.
